After a day on the mountain, head to the Village at Northstar for ice skating, fireside drinks, and boutique shopping, or take a short drive to Historic Downtown Truckee for cozy dining and local craft breweries.
A vehicle is recommended for getting around the area. On-site parking is available for up to 5 cars. In winter months, a 4WD vehicle is highly recommended due to snowy conditions. Take advantage of the free Northstar shuttle service, with direct pickup from your driveway—taking you straight to the Northstar Village for shopping, dining, and fun. Historic Downtown Truckee is just a short drive away.
Guests will have access to the entire home, private hot tub, deck, 2 sets of washers and dryers, and on-site parking for up to 5 vehicles (1 space in garage, 4 spaces in driveway). Guests also receive passes to the Northstar Recreation Center, which includes a pool, sauna, fitness center, and tennis and pickleball courts.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please note that the hot tub is serviced between guests. Sometimes the tub is chemically treated but other times it's drained and refilled in addition to being chemically treated. Because of this, the tub may be cold on your arrival and may not be hot on the first night of your stay. Please note there are 12 stairs up to the home's entry. Please note there is an exterior security camera at the front door. Please note the wood burning fireplace is not available for use. A Note on the Northstar Recreation Center: The rec center is operated by the Northstar Property Owners Association (NPOA). Its amenities have seasonal hours and may be closed for maintenance or during the off-season, and we can't be held responsible for closures. Please check the NPOA website for current hours before your stay.
