This gorgeous updated classic cabin boasts the ideal design for relaxing with friends and family after a great day enjoying everything North Lake Tahoe has to offer! The open and social main living area is ideal for staying connected to your group and the large outdoor deck with a hot tub provides additional space for your group to spread out and enjoy the nature of the area. And with bedrooms spread out on the two floors, you have plenty of privacy for a good night's sleep! Enter the home via the front door into the main living level where you will be greeted by a space full of rustic cabin charm. Enjoy relaxing in this beautiful space with high vaulted ceilings featuring exposed wood beams, soaring windows overlooking the surrounding trees, and cabin decor adding a cozy ambiance. You will first arrive at the living room where you will find a large sectional sofa, a 55" Smart TV with Roku and a small sound system, and a wood-burning fireplace surrounded by a beautiful stone hearth. From the living room step outside to the large deck where you can enjoy your tranquil surroundings as you soak in the 6-person hot tub or relax on one of the patio chairs. Or prepare a meal for your group on the propane BBQ, in the summer months this area is the perfect place to enjoy a meal al fresco. Just off the living room are the connected kitchen and dining. The fully stocked kitchen features a spacious and open layout with plenty of cabinets and counter space for your group to utilize. Bridging the kitchen and dining area is a kitchen bar with two bar stools where you can grab a quick snack or keep the chef company. Enjoy a meal with your group at the large wood dining table with seating for 8. This space is flooded with natural light with windows all around so you can enjoy the views while you have your meal. A powder room is located just off the front door for convenient shared use while in the main living area. When you are ready to tuck in for the night you will find a master bedroom on the main level. The large master bedroom boasts a comfortable king-size bed with a lovely wooden bedframe, matching nightstands with lamps, a large dresser, and windows throughout the space. For added comfort, the master bedroom includes an ensuite full bathroom with a spacious double-sink vanity, a large window overlooking nature, and a shower/bathtub combo. Make your way to the lower level of the home and find two bedrooms and a living room area with additional sleeping accommodations if needed. The first downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed, matching nightstands with lamps, and two bright windows. The second bedroom is set up with a queen-sized bed. This bedroom provides a comfortable sleeping space in a lovely log bedframe. A second living room is found on the lower level of the home and is set up as a dynamic space that can be used as an additional bedroom or an entertainment room. The room features a queen-sized bunk bed, a dresser, a 47" Samsung TV, and plenty of puzzles and games for your group to enjoy. Off the second living room is a shared full bathroom complete with a single-sink vanity and a tiled shower/bathtub. In addition, the lower level features a full laundry room complete with a washer and dryer so you can keep up with laundry while on vacation. Guests will also have access to a large 2-car garage where you can park and walk straight into the basement area of the home making it convenient to load/unload your gear on those snowy days. This home is situated in a quiet forested area less than 5 minutes from Lake Tahoe where guests will have access to a private beach/park. Renting this home gives you access to the private beach/park Tahoe Park on Lake Tahoe where you can enjoy the pebble beach, grassy lawns, children’s play area, swimming spots, BBQ areas, and more! Or enjoy a short walk down the street and arrive at the public access of the popular outdoor recreation area, the beautiful Paige Meadows. This area is great for an easy family stroll or a big adventure into the mountains along the famous Tahoe Rim Trail. The famous Sunnyside Resort is a 5-minute drive and right next to Tahoe Park where you can have a great meal or rent any type of watercraft imaginable. In the winter months, you are only a 20-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts and Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, and a 12-minute drive to Homewood ski resort. If XC skiing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling is more your thing, Paige Meadows has a great year-round trail system. For those in your group looking for a little less outdoor time, Tahoe city is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. This North Lake Tahoe gem has everything you need to have an amazing Lake Tahoe Vacation.
The home is not within walking distance of the public transportation TART with the closest stop just under 2 miles from the home. This stop is on the Mainline and is stop Hwy 89 at Tahoe Park Ln (Lakeside) which runs every hour. Take advantage of the home's close driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Guests will have access to the entire house and outdoor areas which include a large outdoor deck. Guests will also have access to three parking places, two in the garage and one parking place in the driveway in front of the house.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please note that the left garage is locked and temporarily being used to store new windows until the windows are installed. The right garage door is currently being repaired and should be ready for the next guests. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions. If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
