Hooga House was just as its name describes: cozy and comfortable. The house is nestled on a large natural lot with majestic trees and interesting ground plants in a quiet neighborhood. The log construction was so appropriate for the mountain surroundings. We were excited to go inside and see a pristine, beautifully decorated and appointed rental. We all agreed that the fireplace was a masterpiece. The kitchen was definitely another favorite place as we discovered it to be a cook’s dream. We were able to make everything we wanted for any meal during our stay. Plenty of room in the house for our party of six adults, and it was wonderful to have almost every bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The upstairs loft was a great addition for reading. We were almost always outside on the front or back porch if it was daytime, as the weather was perfect. The hot tub was nice for unwinding after hiking and boating all day. It was a perfect vacation for us, and Hooga House was the perfect rental.
