Tahoma offers a quieter, woodsy escape on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Summer visitors can enjoy beaches, hiking trails, and state parks, while winter guests are close to Homewood Mountain Resort and within driving distance of major ski areas. It’s an ideal location for families or outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the best of Tahoe.
Driving is the most convenient way to explore the area. There is on-site parking for up to 5 vehicles, and during winter months, snow tires or chains may be required. The home is on the TART shuttle line via the scheduled Mainline route and optionally via TART Connect if you're traveling within town or linking to a fixed-route stop.
Guests have private access to the entire home, including the deck, patio, garage, and backyard. Laundry machines are located in-unit.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please note that this home has central air conditioning that serves the main floor only. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

I give this home including the amenities 5+ STARS! My younger brother lives in Sacramento so we decided to meet at Lake Tahoe for a family reunion. I was lucky to find this place because it’s a popular spot and is usually booked. We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. It had a well equipped kitchen, spacious living room and comfortable beds. We were out exploring during the day time and enjoyed coming home to an AC cooled home with all the cozy chairs and sofas, high speed internet, as well as cooking and eating together as a family. Everything was thought out well by the hosts, and even though we were 8 hours away from our home it felt like we never left our nest. Definitely follow all the guidelines and instructions in the listing, you have to turn off the BEAR system and turn on the water heater as well. Our only regret was not staying a few days longer. We plan on returning again during the winter season, God willing.

The location is great! Could easily walk to the lake, and there was a great coffee shop nearby to walk to as well. The street was so pretty, and the rooms were so comfy. Was perfect for our family!

We highly recommend this place! The rooms are perfect, the balcony is peaceful, the surroundings are fun to walk around in. The place was close enough to the lake for a short walk or a drive into the town. It was peaceful and a very clean unit. I want to say this has been the best cabin we have stayed in. Thank you to the hosts.
