Located in a peaceful residential area on Tahoe Island Drive, this home offers proximity to Lake Tahoe’s best activities while maintaining a quiet retreat feel. In winter, explore nearby ski resorts like Heavenly and Sierra-at-Tahoe. In summer, enjoy beach days, hiking, and boating just minutes away.
A car is recommended for this area. There’s no nearby public transportation, but guests are a short drive from marinas, beaches, shops, and restaurants. Easy access to Highway 50 and the California/Nevada state line makes getting around simple.
Guests have full access to the entire home, including private use of the hot tub, gas grill, and laundry facilities. Garage accommodates 2 vehicles with 2 additional spaces in the driveway.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please note that the grill is only available in the summer months.

Great place! I would only recommend for local VR make a walk through the house a day prior to checking in to ensure everything is in functional conditions. Overall we had a great experience! Thank you for everything!

This cabin is great for a large group. There were 7-8 of us during our stay. The living room kitchen dining area is perfect for a large group like us. Very comfortable and livable. We didn’t cook much, but when we did, we had trouble with the burners on the cooktop. Some didn’t work, and the one that did flared up when we started it. I did report that so it can be fixed. We also heard pecking in the wall, and finally discovered some kind of bird had pecked a hole in the outside, and pulled a bunch of insulation out to make its home. We took a picture and reported that as well. Other than that the fact it had 3 bathrooms for that big a group of women made it perfect, and close to restaurants, horse back riding, a sunset cruise etc. Thanks
