Located in a heavily forested and peaceful neighborhood, our home is adjacent to protected conservancy land on 2 sides, offering a true sense of mountain seclusion. The area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with easy access to the scenic trails and sandy beaches of Tahoe City. In the winter, you are a short drive from the world-renowned slopes of Palisades Tahoe and Northstar, while the summer months offer endless opportunities for boating, paddleboarding, and hiking along the Tahoe Rim Trail. For dining and shopping, downtown Tahoe City is just minutes away. Enjoy a meal overlooking the water, browse local boutiques, or explore the local farmers' market. The neighborhood's proximity to both nature and town amenities makes it one of the most sought-after spots in the region.
A vehicle is recommended to fully explore the Lake Tahoe area and access nearby ski resorts and shopping centers. The property offers 8 steps to the entry from the driveway. During winter months, 4-wheel drive or snow chains are highly encouraged for safe travel through the neighborhood.
Guests will have access to the entire home, the private backyard, and the driveway. Please note that the garage is not available for renter use.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. The top bunk in the third bedroom holds up to 400 lbs. Please note the firepit, grill and patio furniture are only available in the summer from May to September

The house was extremely well-equipped with everything our family could have needed. Everything was new or nearly new and the home was super clean and comfortable. I cooked multiple meals in the pristine kitchen and my kids enjoyed the games and books. We plan to stay here again soon.

I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. My daughter's loved the set up of house. The kitchen is perfect for cooking your own meals. Outdoor deck/patio is perfect for viewing the local wildlife while sipping coffee.This place has that home away from home type of feel. Waking up and watching the sunrise over the lake at William Kent beach is a must do while staying here !
