When you arrive at the building you will find the condo located on the 3rd floor providing great views from the home's large windows and private balcony. A bench with a shoe rack conveniently sits outside the condo's front door so you can unload your outdoor gear before settling into the home, or store your items in the private ski locker located on the ground level. When you enter the home a spacious entryway greets you with a built-in bench with a boot dryer underneath! After a day on the slopes place your boots on the boot dryer and start your next day with dry and warm boots. To the right of the entryway, the home opens to the bright shared living space where the living room, dining room, and kitchen seamlessly blend together. Relax in style in the gorgeous living room where soaring windows offer breathtaking views right from the comfort of the couch! The living room is set up for all your relaxing and entertaining needs with two leather chairs, a plush 3-person sofa, a coffee table, a 65” Samsung Smart TV, and an impressive floor-to-ceiling stone hearth with a heatless electric fireplace. Or, turn this space into an additional sleeping area and turn the couch into a comfortable pull-out queen bed. From the living room, you can step out to the balcony where you can take in the beautiful views and fresh mountain air while sitting at the 2-person table. On the other side of the shared living space is the modern and sleek kitchen where you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The fully equipped kitchen features brand-new stainless steel appliances, a full range of cookware, and a kitchen bar with 2 bar stools. Just steps away from the kitchen is the dining area, a chic space with a dining table featuring seating for 9 so your entire group can enjoy gathering for meals. You will find a stacked washer and dryer down the hallway from the shared living space, next to the entryway and shared bathroom. The condo’s shared bathroom is a bright and clean space with a sleek single-sink vanity offering ample storage space and a step-in shower with a glass door. When you are ready to tuck in for the night you will find the condo’s two bedrooms on the opposite side of the shared living space, creating a nice separation of space for added privacy. The master bedroom includes a ceiling fan to keep you cool on warm summer nights, a spacious closet, and an en suite bathroom. Freshen up before bed in the beautiful master bathroom where you will find a double-sink vanity, a hair dryer, and a separate room with the toilet and a spacious step-in shower.
The location of this condo places you near all the action in the Olympic Valley area! Just a half-mile away from the charming European-style village at Palisades Tahoe, you can easily walk to the main village where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and seasonal festivals. You are within walking distance, or a quick one-minute drive to the slopes at Palisades ski resort. Or, make the 10-minute drive over to Alpine Meadows for some of the best ski runs in the area. The condo is about 10 minutes walk to the base to base gondola and 1 minute mountaineer ride. During the summer months enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path located 10 minutes from the home. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas such as Truckee just 15 minutes away. Or head into Tahoe City is less than a 15-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. With its easy access to ski resorts, bike paths, and beaches, this condo is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
Within walking distance to the slopes, shops, and eateries you can enjoy many of the wonderful things this area has to offer without having to get into the car! A public transportation (TART) stop less than a 5-minute walk away where you will find a TART stop at Olympic Valley Rd at Post Office. This bus will take you to Tahoe City with a short bus ride where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas with just a 20-minute drive to Truckee and a 15-minute drive to Tahoe City. In the winter time enjoy being only a one-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe ski resort and 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows.
Guests will have access to the entire condo and two parking places, one covered and one uncovered.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Absolutely no Skis/Poles/Snowboards/Bicycles/Muddy Shoes inside the unit. Please store them in the ski locker in the carport. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please store all skis and snowboards in the locker downstairs. To keep the house clean and free of clutter, we ask that you do not bring them inside.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
