Located in a serene residential pocket of Truckee, this home offers peace and proximity. In winter, explore nearby Northstar and other Tahoe ski resorts. In summer, enjoy scenic trails, Donner Lake, or historic downtown Truckee’s shops and eateries. The area has a residential feel with a sense of space and privacy, yet quick access to major outdoor destinations.
A car is recommended for this property. While there’s no public transit nearby, Highway 267 and I-80 are both easily accessible for travel to ski resorts or town centers. Drive times are short to Northstar, downtown Truckee, and local trailheads.
Guests have access to the entire home and all outdoor areas, including the forested backyard, large deck, and patio. The driveway accommodates up to 4 cars; garage access is not available. The laundry room and all living spaces are private.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Guests must use the side entrance with the digital lock, not the front door. The garage is off-limits and houses a caretaker living above it. The home has a dual Class 1/2 EV charger (120/240V). This stay was amazing! We had a group of 11 and everyone slept comfortably. The house is so big that it even felt empty! The entire property was clean and very private. The speakers were also some of the best speakers I've ever heard in a house! I'd highly reccomend staying here, especially for larger groups!

Excellent home to stay for a ski trip to palisades. Well stoked kitchen, lots of entertainment options, plenty of room for people to sleep and hang out. Would definitely recommend for large groups.

Our stay was very enjoyable with LOTS of room...well furnish in the entire house. Great instructions and communication. Very close to all kinds of fun activities. Many rooms to spread out and play games, do crafty items, read....etc.The fireplace was very inviting and a great area to sit and enjoy coffee and/or wine. Everything about the property was spot on correctly accurate with the pictures and descriptions. The host did a great job with instructions and info......
