Nestled in Truckee, the home is a short drive to year-round activities—skiing at Northstar and Tahoe Donner in winter, hiking and lake adventures in warmer months. Downtown Truckee’s shops and restaurants are just 3.4 miles away, offering local charm and convenience.
A car is recommended for exploring the area. The home offers ample parking, and major attractions like Northstar and Donner Lake are under a 15-minute drive away.
Guests have access to the full home, including the private hot tub, gas grill, deck, and in-unit laundry. Owners closet is locked. Guests are also allowed to access the Trout Creek Recreation Center for additional daily fees.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

Had an amazing stay here. The place was huge with plenty of room for our guests. The layout of the lodge made it homely and easy for a nice group of friends and family to all spend time together. The speaker system was also a great plus. Would highly recommend!

We went for a quiet and peaceful vacation and that’s exactly what we got. The house is beautiful it has everything you need. It was hot during our stay but they had fans on every room that helped a lot. Kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for our ski weekend. It was very nice and clean. The ratio of bedrooms to bathrooms was very comfortable and everyone fit/had their own space. We loved the hot tub and the grill. Host communication proactive and appreciated. Would recommend to anyone looking for a retreat away with friends or family!
