Skiers and snowboarders will love being just 2 miles from the Heavenly Village Gondola and a short drive to Stagecoach and Boulder lodges. After a day carving powder across Heavenly’s massive peak, head to Heavenly Village or the nearby Stateline casino corridor for high-energy après-ski, world-class dining, craft breweries, and live entertainment. For a peaceful winter excursion, explore nearby snowshoeing and cross-country trails around Van Sickle Bi-State Park or Kahle Park.
A 4-wheel drive vehicle or 2-wheel drive with snow chains is strongly recommended for traveling in Stateline and Lake Tahoe during the winter months. Drive just 5 minutes down to Highway 50 for seamless access to Heavenly Village, local grocery stores, and the South Lake casinos. Local transit options and resort shuttles offer convenient connections around the South Shore and up to the Heavenly ski lodges.
Guests will have access to the entire home, including the private 8-person hot tub, Weber gas grill, deck, game area with pool table, in-unit washer and dryer, and on-site parking for up to 6 vehicles (3 covered, 3 in driveway).
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please note that the patio furniture and grill is put away for the winter season. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn't snowed in a few days. Please note that the hot tub is serviced between guests. Sometimes the tub is chemically treated, but other times it is drained and refilled in addition to being chemically treated. Because of this, the tub may be cold on your arrival and may not be hot on the first night of your stay. Parking (Douglas County): Maximum of 6 vehicles (3 covered spaces in the garage and under the overhang, 3 spaces on the driveway). Park only in the garage, under the overhang or on the driveway; no street parking. Vehicles parked in the driveway must display a parking placard on the dashboard. Keep vehicles within the designated spaces and clear of snow storage areas during snow removal. Failure to follow these parking limitations may result in a citation and/or a fine of $500. This home has three levels connected by interior stairs, plus 5-7 steps from the driveway to the front door.
