This home is located in the luxurious Shock Hill subdivision of Breckenridge. This is arguably the most desirable, high-end neighborhood in all of Breckenridge, situated perfectly between downtown and the base of the ski area. The highlight of Shock Hill is the private gondola stop, which provides effortless transport to downtown Breck, Peak 7, and Peak 8. During the summer, the area transforms into a hub for hiking and mountain biking, with scenic trails just moments from your door.
While a car is recommended for exploring the wider region, getting around is made effortless by nearby public transit options. The home is steps away from the gondola which can take you to Peak 7, Peak 8, or downtown. There is also a free bus shuttle in town that will take you anywhere you wish to go. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are also prevalent throughout Breckenridge for added convenience.

Please note that like most homes in Breckenridge, we do not have A/C. Please note that the hot tub is serviced between guests. Sometimes the tub is chemically treated but other times it’s drained and refilled in addition to being chemically treated. Because of this, the tub may be cold on your arrival and may not be hot on the first night of your stay. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please note that the Gondola is subject to seasonal closures; please check the Breckenridge Website for up-to-date information. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. We loved our stay! Location was great and three families fit perfectly. The house was in good shape and walking to the gondola was a lot of fun for the kids and a convenience we really appreciated.

Everything was great for our spring ski trip. We’ve been skiing Breck for over a decade and have stayed at other homes in Shock Hill. This was the best combination of view, access to the gondola/ mountain and outfitting. The primary suite washer/dryer (a great bonus!) needs servicing, as it has that moldy smell that front loaders tend to get at some point. It’d be great to have some instructions about the humidifier filters that need to be purchased prior to use. But the fact that there are enough humidifiers for everyone was awesome! We’ll be back.
