Space


This four-bedroom updated classic Lake Tahoe cabin nestled in the pines has everything your group will need for some good old-school fun in the mountains. Stay connected with your group in the open and social main living area before returning to the separate bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Your group will love making use of the large outdoor deck complete with two seating areas, access to a wooded backyard, and a recessed hot tub. This cabin offers everything a modern mountain retreat should! Guests will enter the home and be greeted by the open main living area featuring the living room, kitchen, and dining area. This bright and inviting area is full of modern cabin charm with exposed wood beams in the peaked ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the forested area, and a wood fireplace on a stone hearth warming up the space. Relax in the centrally located living room where you will find seating for 5-6 on the oversized couch and chair with comfortable ottomans. Gather around the 55” TV equipped with an Apple TV and high-speed internet for a movie night. Or warm up by the wood fireplace while you take in the views out of the floor-to-ceiling windows. On a sunny day head out to the large deck off the living room. This large outdoor space provides a dynamic area for your group to hang out with two seating areas with patio furniture for 12 including an outdoor patio table with seating 6, a propane BBQ, and a recessed hot tub. While the patio furniture and BBQ are stored during the winter months you can still fully enjoy soaking in the hot tub on those snowy winter days. Back inside you will find the kitchen and dining area connected to the living room. The large kitchen is fully equipped to be able to easily prepare meals for the whole group. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, lovely granite countertops, and a large kitchen countertop with four bar stools. Conveniently located next to the kitchen is the dining table which provides seating for 6. When you are ready to tuck in for the night you will find four comfortable bedrooms located in two areas of the house. The first two bedrooms are located down the hallway on the righthand side of the kitchen. The first bedroom is a well-decorated space with a king-size bed with comfortable bedding. Directly across from the first bedroom is the second bedroom which features a king-size bed and bright windows. Located near the two bedrooms is a full bathroom with a double-sink vanity, shower/bathtub combo, and a washer and dryer. On the other side of the home, you will find the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom is set up as a bunk room with two bunk beds both featuring twin over full beds with drawer storage underneath the beds. The room is well laid out for families with a reading corner and ample space to play. Also featured in the 3rd bedroom are a dresser and a 42" TV. The 4th bedroom is a cozy space with a queen-size bed, a headboard with floating shelves, and a large dresser. The second bathroom of the home is conveniently located between the 3rd and 4th bedrooms as a jack-and-jill bathroom. This bathroom boasts a single-sink vanity with above and below cabinet space and a shower/bathtub combo. Neighborhood


This North Lake Tahoe home is situated on a quiet street surrounded by a beautiful forested area less than 10 minutes from Tahoe City, the perfect location for enjoying the scenery and nature of the area while being minutes away from town! A short walk down the street will take you to the public access to the beautiful Paige Meadows which is great for an easy family stroll or a big adventure into the mountains along the famous Tahoe Rim Trail. The famous Sunnyside Resort is a 5-minute drive and right next to Tahoe Park where you can have a great meal or rent any type of watercraft imaginable. Enjoy some of the best slopes in the area at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Palisades Tahoe, both located within a 20-minute drive from the home placing endless outdoor adventures at your fingertips. For those in your group looking for a little less outdoor time, Tahoe City is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers markets, and live music.

Transit


This cabin is not within walking distance of the public transportation TART with the closest stop just under 2 miles from the home. If you are wanting to utilize public transportation the nearest stop is on the Mainline route and is stop Hwy 89 at Tahoe Park Ln/Lakeside which runs every hour. Take advantage of the home's close driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.

Access


Guests will have access to the entire house and outdoor areas which include a large outdoor deck. Guests will also have access to three parking places in the driveway in front of the house.

Notes


Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions. If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

House Rules


1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
