Tucked among the majestic pine forest, this cozy two-bedroom condo will make you feel as if you are hidden away in nature. The condo is just steps away from Northstar Ski Resort and includes access to a variety of village amenities such as a pool, hot tub, and a fitness center. If you are looking for a great stay in Tahoe, this is the place! As you arrive at this condo, you will be greeted by large windows overlooking the surrounding trees. The home boasts a rustic mountain home style that will make you feel right at home during your vacation. Directly off the entrance, you will find a bench and coat hangers, providing a convenient place to store your outdoor gear before settling in. Just a few steps down the tiled hallway, the home opens up to the kitchen/dining area/living room. This bright space features lovely hardwood floors, large windows, and a social and open layout. When you enter this space, you will first come to the kitchen, a beautiful space the chef in your group will love preparing a meal in. The kitchen features ample cabinet space, lovely granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a full range of cookwares including a drip coffee maker and a blender. Connecting the kitchen to the living room is a spacious kitchen island, where you will find four bar stools that double as the dining space of the home. A stone hearth fireplace is located to the side of the kitchen, providing a cozy feel to the space and making it easy to warm up by the fire while you prepare a meal or enjoy a snack! From the kitchen, you can step out the glass window door and onto your private balcony, where you will find a bistro-style table and two chairs. This is the perfect spot for relaxing while you enjoy the surrounding nature and fresh mountain air. On the other side of the kitchen island is the living room where you will find two comfortable couches, a coffee table, and a 44” TV. Your group is going to love relaxing in this space that is surrounded by windows, everywhere you look is a beautiful view overlooking the trees! When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find the first bedroom located downstairs to the right of the front door. This bedroom features two twin beds with a nightstand and lamp in-between the beds, and a large closet. Next to the bedroom is the shared full bathroom, where you will find a single-sink vanity with under-the-sink cabinets, and a shower/bathtub combo with lovely tilework. The master bedroom is located on the second floor and is the only room on this level of the home, providing additional privacy. The welcoming master bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed with matching nightstands and lamps, a closet and dresser for storing personal items, and a 20” TV, so you can relax and watch TV from bed. This bedroom also includes an attached bathroom where you will find a large single-sink vanity with extra storage space and an additional countertop providing extra room for getting ready for the day and keeping your personal items. Rounding out the bathroom is the walk-in shower, with beautiful tilework and a glass door. For added comfort, both of the bedrooms feature carpet. Guests are welcome to enjoy the many wonderful HOA amenities the home includes, such as two pools and tennis courts in the summer months and year-round access to the shared hot tub and sauna! If you are looking for an active vacation close to a wide variety of outdoor activities, you will love the location of this condo! Situated directly above Northstar Resort, you are just a short walk away to the village and gondola, providing easy access to all the activities the resort has to offer as well as year-round entertainment in the nearby Northstar Village. In the winter time, hit the slopes at Northstar Resort, where you will find great ski terrain for all ability levels. The hill just below this condo’s balcony also makes for some great sledding during the winter months. In the summer months, Northstar becomes a hiker's paradise with tons of trails for all levels to explore, and a world-class mountain biking facility. Northstar is a great family-friendly option as well with an ice skating rink, a movie theater, shopping, dining, and more available in the Village to keep everyone in your group busy and entertained. Just a 10-miles away is the town of Kings Beach where you can enjoy the white sand beaches of Lake Tahoe and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. A 15-minute drive in the other direction brings you to the historic town of Truckee where you will find river rafting, bike paths, boutique shopping, and a great nightlife scene.
The ski-in/ski-out condo is located just a half-mile away from Northstar ski resort and is on a free shuttle line. Guests can download the Northstar app and have easy access to the free dial-a-ride shuttle. There are also daily use routes to and from Kings Beach and Truckee with TART (Tahoe Area Rapid Transportation). To reach Kings Beach, guests make a .5-mile walk to Northstar Village Gate #7 to take the Hwy 267 Truckee Depot to Crystal Bay station route, from which is around a 15-minute bus ride. For those looking to go to the historic town of Truckee, guests can take the same bus heading North and be at Truckee with a 20-minute bus ride. There are several cab companies in the area as well as Uber and Lyft, however, Uber and Lyft can be seasonal and scarce at times.
Guests will have access to the entire condo, a balcony, a private ski locker, and two parking spaces located directly in front of the unit. Guests will also have access to several shared amenities such as a pool, sauna, hot tubs, fitness center, washer and dryer.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. 1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
