This home, located just over a half-mile from Northstar Resort, offers easy access to year-round activities at the resort and nearby Northstar Village. Enjoy the recreation center with 3 pools, spas, a large gym, pickleball courts, and more—perfect for family fun! In the wintertime, Northstar Resort is ideal for all ski levels, while in the summer, it's a hiker's paradise with numerous trails and a world-class mountain biking facility. For more family-friendly entertainment, visit the Village's ice-skating rink, movie theater, shops, and dining options. Just a half mile from the home, Northstar Golf Course offers scenic views that the golfer in your group will appreciate. A quick 11-minute drive brings you to Kings Beach, where you can relax on the white sand beaches of Lake Tahoe or enjoy a variety of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. The home, less than a mile from Northstar Ski Resort, offers convenient on-site parking and several shuttle bus options. It’s only a 2-minute ride on the free shuttle to Northstar Village and the recreation center. Guests can easily access the dial-a-ride shuttle by downloading the Northstar app. Tahoe Area Rapid Transportation (TART) also provides daily routes to Kings Beach and Truckee. To reach Kings Beach, guests can walk a mile to Northstar Village Gate #8 and take the Hwy 267 bus. The ride to Crystal Bay station takes about 15 minutes. For a visit to the historic town of Truckee, guests can take the same bus north and arrive in Truckee in approximately 20 minutes. Several cab companies operate in the area, and both Uber and Lyft are available, although availability can be seasonal and limited.
Guests will have access to the entire home, including 4 on-site parking spaces—2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. They will also have access to the nearby recreation center, which offers a variety of shared amenities.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Our family of 9 (6 adults + 3 kids) stayed for 4 nights and we loved the house. It was spotless on arrival and had everything we needed. The back patio is SO NICE and now includes a huge sofa / seating area that isn't included in the photos. The two different living rooms were perfect for the kids. Note that the bedroom with the Hello Kitty blanket is VERY small. We were able to fit a pack and play, but it required us moving the bookshelf out of the room. The agency who manage this listing are VERY responsive but ended up giving us a couple bits of wrong info. We hired a chef and I asked how many sets of plates, etc. were available. I was told 6 which felt odd for such a large home. When we arrived we discovered 14 set of plates, bowls, etc and tons of cutlery. I also asked if they had beach towels and beach chairs and was told they didn't. When we arrived we found two beach chairs in the garage and a bunch of beach towels in the house.

Stayed three nights for a dad and kids ski weekend at Northstar. Great house! Tons of space and well stocked with everything we needed. Great location! Shuttle service to the resort was super convenient, space outdoors for kids to play in the snow, clean and well-maintained hot tub, and a huge outdoor deck. Host was very responsive with questions. Looking forward to staying here next time we visit.
