Whether you are in Tahoe for the beaches or the ski resorts, this home places you near it all! In the winter months, you’ll be less than 15 minutes away from the slopes at Northstar Resort, where you will find great ski terrain for all ability levels, an ice skating rink, and a movie theater. In the summer months, Northstar becomes a hiker's paradise with tons of trails for all levels to explore, and a world-class mountain bike facility. For more hiking options, check out Tahoe Rim Trail, which offers stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Kings Beach has white sand beaches with every watercraft rental imaginable, supermarkets, boutique shopping, spas, yoga, and a wide variety of restaurants. Be sure to check the Kings Beach community calendar during your stay for the free summer outdoor concert series and farmer’s market schedule.
The home is within a 5-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop located at Hwy 267 and Lincoln Green, which runs every hour. Or make the short drive down to King's Beach where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With both HWY 28 and 267 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Northstar California Resort is just a 12-minute drive away on HWY 267, on which you can continue on to the historic mountain town of Truckee, or stop for a hike at Brockway Summit, one of the trailheads for the famous Tahoe Rim Trail which offers stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Or, take a day trip into Nevada, the state line is just a 7 minutes drive away, and the town of Reno is an hour's drive from the home. Head south and be at the popular Olympic Valley within 30 minutes where you can enjoy the slopes at Palisades Tahoe ski resort. You will find Tahoe City with a less than 20-minute drive down HWY 28 Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor deck, and garage. 2 garage parking spots and 2 driveway parking spots.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe. Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. Please note that the grill is only available in the summer months Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

Great place to stay on the north side. Easily fit our group of 6 and had lots of extra room. Nice location, couple minutes away from stores and a lookout. No complaints. Host was very responsive and attentive. Would definitely come back.

This is a beautiful house with a view of the Lake that did not disappoint! We enjoyed coffee on the deck taking in the view. The kitchen is large with plenty of counter space & room for everyone to move around plus a large walk in pantry. It was very nice to have a 2nd family room downstairs for the guests staying in the 2 bedrooms downstairs. We appreciated the clean empty garage to utilize. All the bedrooms had plenty of space to organize our things, from a large walk in closet to nice dressers in each room. We will definitely stay here again!! The response was very quick to answer any questions we had & they were able to accommodate a late check out.

We stayed here with friends for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean, the service was excellent, and the area was quiet and peaceful. A special thank you for the thoughtful choice of soaps, shampoos, and even dishwashing liquid with fresh pine scents — they created such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
