Spend your mornings carving powder at nearby world-class ski resorts like Northstar, Sugar Bowl, or Palisades Tahoe, or enjoy scenic cross-country skiing and snowshoeing nearby. After an active day in the snow, explore historic downtown Truckee’s snow-dusted Commercial Row. Here, you will find vibrant aprés-ski spots, craft breweries, cozy coffee shops, fine dining, and unique local boutiques, all just a short drive from your front door.
A personal vehicle with 4-wheel drive or snow chains is highly recommended for traveling to and around Truckee during winter months. The property offers driveway and garage parking for up to 5 vehicles. Public transit is limited in the immediate residential area, making a car the best option for navigating to ski lifts, grocery stores, and downtown dining.
Guests will have access to the entire home, private hot tub, deck, patio, and on-site parking for 2 vehicles in the attached garage.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please note parking in the driveway is not allowed in the winter time due to snow plow restrictions and liability. Please note the hot tub is serviced in between stay and may not be fully up to temperature for the first evening. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
