Our property is perfectly situated to experience the very best of a Truckee summer. Spend your days on the water at nearby Donner Lake, which offers public piers for swimming, premier fishing, and beautiful beaches at Donner Memorial State Park. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike the scenic Commemorative Emigrant Trail or enjoy a family-friendly bike ride along the paved Truckee River Legacy Trail. In the evenings, immerse yourself in local culture in historic downtown Truckee. Don't miss the famous Truckee Thursdays street fair, local farmers markets, live outdoor concerts, and a wonderful selection of boutique shops, art galleries, and diverse restaurants.
A vehicle is highly recommended to easily explore the region’s lakes, trailheads, and downtown attractions. The home features on-site parking for up to 6 vehicles, with space for 5 cars in the driveway and 1 in the garage. Paved walking and biking paths can be found throughout the greater Truckee area for daytime recreation.
Guests can enjoy the full home, including both living rooms, kitchen, patio, hot tub, and laundry area. Access to shared amenities such as the pool, hot tub, clubhouse, fitness area, and tennis court is included with a guest card and a $10 per person/day fee.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please note that the grill is only available in the summer months.
