This home is located in the coveted Cowboy Heaven neighborhood of Big Sky, with premier slope access and expansive mountain views. Ski right from your deck in winter, or enjoy peaceful hiking and wildlife viewing in summer. The nearby Moonlight Lodge offers upscale dining, après-ski, and access to scenic lifts year-round. Big Sky Town Center, just 15 minutes away, has restaurants, shops, and live events.
A car is recommended. While the cabin is ski-in/ski-out in winter, Big Sky’s attractions, shops, and dining are a short drive away. Snow tires or 4WD may be needed in snowy months due to mountain roads.
Guests have access to the entire cabin including private amenities like the hot tub, grill, and in-unit laundry. Parking is available in the driveway for up to 3 vehicles.
There are no pets allowed at this property due to a family allergy. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

Cowboy Heaven was beautiful. We had family staying at Powder Ridge and it was so convenient they could ski right over and stop for lunch. The ski in/ski out access is truly the best you can get. The home is situation directly on Powder River and you can catch the Iron Horse 4, Pony Express 3, or the Madison 8 lifts. The cabin was small, but it was charming, unique and clean, and could easily fit 4 adults and 2 small kids (if allowed). I would definitely rent from LocalVR again and definitely stay at Cowboy Heaven again! An early check in was accommodated and the process was seamless. Thanks!
