As you step inside the home a split-level entryway greets you making it easy to access either the upstairs shared living space or the downstairs bedrooms. The shared living space boasts a bright and open living layout with the room/dining room/kitchen seamlessly blending together. Boasting an idyllic Tahoe cabin charm, the shared living space features vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, an impressive stone hearth fireplace, an abundance of windows, and charming wood details, you will feel right at home relaxing in this space! The living room provides a spacious and comfortable area to connect with your group with 2 plush sofas and 2 club chairs offering ample sitting space. The dynamic room is set up for everything from movie night on the 55” TV to a sleeping space with one of the couches doubling as a pull-out queen bed. Connected to the living room is the fully-equipped kitchen where you will find everything you need for preparing meals at home including a crockpot, blender, and a toaster oven. Enjoy gathering for meals with your group at the 7-person table, or grabbing quick snacks at the kitchen bar where you will find 2 bar stools. The kitchen and dining area boast windows all around, so wherever you sit you can enjoy your meal with a view! Just off the kitchen and living room is an additional table with seating for 4 offering another dining area for those traveling in large groups, or the perfect spot to work on a puzzle or enjoy a game of cards. Tucked off the living room is a bright sunroom where you will find a plush 3-person couch, a sitting chair, and a workspace with a desk and a chair. Great for staying close to family but out of all the noise and commotion. This room is filled with windows providing views over the trees and access to the upper-level deck. A great space for kids to share, the bedroom features two sets of bunk beds; bunk bed #1 features a queen over twin with a twin trundle; bunk bed #2 has a twin-over-twin. The bedroom includes built-in bookshelves with a variety of books to enjoy, two dressers for storing your personal items, and a window overlooking the forested backyard. Head downstairs where you will find three more bedrooms as well as a full-size bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo to share. The first downstairs bedroom is a bright and inviting space with a comfortable queen-size bed, a dresser, a closet, and a sliding glass door opening out to the lower-level deck. The second downstairs bedroom boasts two twin beds and provides guests ample space to store personal items with a dresser, nightstand, and a large closet with sliding mirrored doors. The final downstairs bedroom is the master suite, a private retreat situated at the end of the hallway with a plush king-size bed that includes a memory foam mattress for a good night's rest. The room includes a 42” TV, a dresser, a closet, and an en suite bathroom with a spacious double-sink vanity and a step-in shower. The room is filled with natural light from the sliding glass doors that open to the lower level deck and place you steps away from the hot tub. Guests will also have access to a washer and dryer located next to the downstairs bedrooms in a laundry closet. Centrally located near the town of Kings Beach and Northstar Ski Resort, the location of this home offers quick and easy to many of the area’s top attractions. Within walking distance to the house, you will find an endless network of National Forest trails perfect for walks, runs, and bike rides in the summertime. Just a short 3-minute drive will take you to Patton Beach, a lovely beach that is great for swimming. Nearby Patton Beach you will find a variety of entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a few minutes drive from the home. In the winter months, you are only 15 minutes from Northstar, 25 minutes to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. A short walk from the home will take you to a small hill that is great for sledding! Those wonderful trails on the National Forest system near the home are perfect for enjoying some XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for you are a 12-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 7 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets and major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. You are also 10 minutes from the Nevada state line where you will find casinos and concert venues. This cabin is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!
Centrally located off HWY 28 and within walking distance of two public transportation stop you can comfortably get by without having a vehicle if needed. Less than a mile from the home is the public transportation TART stop at Hwy 28 at Sierra Boat Co which will take you to locations such as Kings Beach. Or, hop on the TART stop at Hwy 28 at Sahara Dr, from here you are a 12-minute bus ride to Tahoe City. Easily connect to other locations at the Tahoe City Transit Center where you can find buses to locations such as Northstar California Resort. The home is also nearby a Night Rider bus stop, please note that the night rider bus is only offered seasonally. Those with a vehicle enjoy being close to HWY 28 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas with less than a 10-minute drive to Tahoe City or the Nevada state line. Just a 3-minute drive will take you to Patton Beach, and the popular Kings Beach is a 7-minute drive away. In the wintertime, you are centrally located for skiing all of the best resorts with a 25-minute drive or less from three of the area's best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley ski resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center. Guests will have access to the entire home, a large outdoor deck, and a private hot tub. Guests will also have access to 7 parking places, including one in the garage.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions. If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe. Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets (dogs only) are only allowed with Owners/Property Managers prior approval. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and the Guest will be evicted. Pet fees may apply. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
