Located in the heart of Breckenridge, Mountain Thunder Lodge offers ski-in convenience and walkability to town. Guests can enjoy alpine skiing and snowboarding in the winter or hiking, biking, and festivals in the summer. Dining, shopping, and entertainment are all within walking distance.
Guests can walk to downtown Breckenridge or catch the nearby BreckConnect Gondola. On-site parking is available, and no parking pass is required. The Summit Stage free bus also services the area.
Access Instructions – Mountain Thunder Lodge Please note that prior to arrival, guests will need to pick up a keycard that provides access to both the building and the unit. The keycard is retrieved from a secure lockbox at our nearby LocalVR office. Full pickup instructions, including the address and access code, will be provided after booking. This quick stop ensures a smooth check-in process and access to your accommodations. Guests will have access to the entire unit and all shared amenities within Mountain Thunder Lodge. Convenient location close to Main St and gondola, easy parking with an elevator to get all your gear upstairs. This 3rd floor unit was quiet, comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. The shared washer and dryer was conveniently located a few doors down from the unit. Recommend.

Great location, very clean, seemed to be newly renovated. More importantly, I can't say enough about how kind and helpful Local VR was when we accidentally locked ourselves out late on a Friday night. They were incredibly kind and patient in helping us with a solution (I recommend any guests keep one of the keys in the lobby lock box!) Would love to stay here again whenever we are back in town.

This was such a great place to stay! It was close to everything and Main Street was so easily accessible. The gondola was just a short walk and we never felt like we were far from anything. The place was absolutely beautiful, it was clean and well taken care of.
