Located in the heart of Breckenridge, Mountain Thunder Lodge offers ski-in convenience and walkability to town. Guests can enjoy alpine skiing and snowboarding in the winter or hiking, biking, and festivals in the summer. Dining, shopping, and entertainment are all within walking distance.
Guests can walk to downtown Breckenridge or catch the nearby BreckConnect Gondola. On-site parking is available, and no parking pass is required. The Summit Stage free bus also services the area.
Access Instructions – Mountain Thunder Lodge Please note that prior to arrival, guests will need to pick up a keycard that provides access to both the building and the unit. The keycard is retrieved from a secure lockbox at our nearby LocalVR office. Full pickup instructions, including the address and access code, will be provided after booking. This quick stop ensures a smooth check-in process and access to your accommodations. Guests will have access to the entire unit and all shared amenities within Mountain Thunder Lodge. We loved our stay! The room was clean and spacious. Beautiful surroundings with a balcony overlooking the pines and the mountains. Walkable to everything! Very clear instructions on how to get into the condo, however, we did have to ask someone where building 5 was. We didn’t realize it was the same building as the condo (to access the key). We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable and peaceful. Loved the balcony, pool and hot tub. It was nice having a garage space so we could leave our bicycles in the car without worries. (There is also a bike rack available in the garage). Location was perfect for hopping on the bike trail, going on hikes, or walking downtown. Gondola & transit station are only a couple of blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.
