Escape to this peaceful 3-bedroom home nestled amongst the trees where you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The home boasts an open and social main living area, private and quiet bedrooms, 3 workspaces, and a spacious deck, so your group can spread out and relax comfortably. You are going to love the impressive views over the surrounding trees you can enjoy from the soaring windows the home boasts! When you come to the main floor of the home, you will be greeted by the open and social main living space, an area flooded with natural light thanks to the wall of soaring floor-to-ceiling windows! From the impressive views over the trees to the large stone hearth fireplace, your group will love relaxing and socializing in this space! In the living room, you will find three different sofas, two of which can be pulled out to sofa beds, as well as a comfortable recliner. In the winter months, curl up on one of the seating options while you warm by the fire and watch a favorite show or movie on the 70” TV. No matter where you are sitting in the living room, you can enjoy the view out the wall of soaring windows! From the living room, you can step outside to the large deck, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air. On the deck, you will find several seating options from a wooden bench to patio chairs, so you can immerse yourself in the beautiful nature. With trees surrounding you from all directions, stepping out onto the deck will make you feel as if you are tucked away from it all! Back inside, you will find the connected kitchen and dining area adjacent to the living room. The fully stocked and spacious kitchen features hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and everything you need to cook a delicious meal for your group. Keep the chef in your group company and hang out at the large kitchen bar, where you will find seating for two. Or gather as a group to enjoy a meal in the dining area, where you will find a dining table with seating for 4. When you are ready to tuck in for the night, head to one of the home’s three cozy bedrooms. The first bedroom is the master suite and is located off the main living space. This bright and inviting room has a large sliding glass door leading out to the patio, so you can wake up and step outside to soak up the morning sunshine. The bedroom boasts a comfortable king-size bed, a large armoire and dresser, a desk, and an en suite bathroom. Freshen up before bed in the lovely master bathroom where you will find a double-sink vanity, a freestanding shower, and a jetted bathtub. On chilly winter mornings, you will love stepping into the bathroom and onto the heated floors, keeping you warm while you get ready for the day. Two additional bedrooms in the home are on the lower level, providing a great separation of space between the rooms. The first bedroom is a well-decorated space with a full-size bed, two nightstands, a bedside lamp, a desk and chair, and a mounted 55” TV, so you can enjoy a movie in bed. The room has a large window looking out at the trees and has a full bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a shower located right next to it. The third bedroom is set up as a bunk room and an office space, with a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a dresser for storing your personal items, as well as a workspace with a desk and printer for any remote work needs. The home also includes a mud room with a sink, ample counter space, and a full-size washer and dryer, so you can easily keep up with any laundry needs during your stay. Northstar is a great family-friendly option as well, with an ice skating rink and movie theater to keep everyone in your group busy and entertained. In the summer months, Northstar becomes a hiker's paradise with tons of trails for all levels to explore, and a world-class mountain biking facility. For more hiking options, you are also only a 4-minute drive to one of the trailheads for the famous Tahoe Rim Trail, which offers stunning views of Lake Tahoe. On those days you are after a little more relaxation, you are only 3 short minutes from the town of Kings Beach where you can find white sand beaches with every watercraft rental imaginable, supermarkets, boutique shopping, spas, yoga, and a wide variety of restaurants. If you are looking for concert venues and casinos, you are only 5 minutes from the Nevada state line where you can find a few different casinos. The home is within a 10-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop located at Hwy 267 and Lincoln Green, which runs every hour. Or make the short drive down to King's Beach, where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With both HWY 28 and 267 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Northstar California Resort is just an 8-minute drive away on HWY 267, on which you can continue to the historic mountain town of Truckee, or stop for a hike at Brockway Summit, one of the trailheads for the famous Tahoe Rim Trail which offers stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Or, take a day trip into Nevada, the state line is just a 7 minutes drive away, and the town of Reno is an hour's drive from the home. Head south and be at the popular Olympic Valley within 30 minutes where you can enjoy the slopes at Palisades Tahoe ski resort. You will find Tahoe City with a less than 20-minute drive down HWY 28 Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor deck, and four parking places in the driveway in front of the home.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please be aware that there is an additional fee for guests who exceed the home's standard of occupancy of 6 guests. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed unless Owner/Manager approves the Guest request before Check In Date, pets (dog only) fees may apply. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and the Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
