Tucked among the trees, this townhome is the end unit of the complex providing additional privacy and placing you .25 miles of Northstar Ski Resort, an ideal location for year-round fun! Hiking trails and the beach are close as well, ensuring your group won’t be bored during your stay. After a day of outdoor fun, return to this bright and inviting home where you will find an open and social main living space, three comfortable bedrooms, and a balcony overlooking the trees. As you enter the home on the lower level, you will find an open hallway with a bench, shoe rack, and coat hooks, providing a convenient space to store your outdoor gear before settling into the home. Down the hallway are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom is the master suite and is filled with natural light from the sliding glass doors that open up to a balcony, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee. The bedroom boasts a comfortable queen-size bed, a desk with a chair for any remote work needs, and a large closet to store your personal belongings. Rounding out the bedroom is an attached bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a step-in shower with a sliding glass door. On the other side of the hallway is the second bedroom where you will find two twin-size beds, a dresser, and a closet, providing plenty of space for those sharing the room to unpack and store their items. Next to this bedroom is the second bathroom, where you will find a single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo, so you can easily freshen up before tucking in for the night. Head up the stairs and come to the kitchen/dining/living room, an open and spacious room filled with classic mountain home charm. The space features high ceilings with exposed wood beams, a beautiful stone hearth fireplace, and large windows overlooking the trees, creating a warm and inviting space for your group to gather. Relax in the carpeted living room on the large sectional sofa that has space for up to 8 to sit together. From here you can enjoy a movie night or take in the views over the trees. Off to the side of the living room is a dining table with seating for 7 that sits next to a pass-thru window into the kitchen. In the fully equipped kitchen, you will find all the cookware needed to prepare a delicious meal for your group and a large window looking towards the trees, so you can cook with a view. Neighborhood


If you are looking for an active vacation close to some outdoor fun, you will love the area this condo is in! Situated just a short .25 mile walk away from Northstar Resort, you can enjoy all the activities the resort has to offer, as well as year-round entertainment in the nearby Northstar Village. In the winter time, hit the slopes at Northstar Resort, where you will find great ski terrain for all ability levels. The hill just below this condo’s balcony also makes for some great sledding during the winter months. In the summer months, Northstar becomes a hiker's paradise with tons of trails for all levels to explore, and a world-class mountain biking facility. Northstar is a great family-friendly option as well with an ice skating rink, a movie theater, shopping, dining, and more available in the Village to keep everyone in your group busy and entertained. Just a 12-minute drive will take you to the town of Kings Beach where you can enjoy the white sand beaches of Lake Tahoe and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. 12 minutes in the other direction brings you to the historic town of Truckee where you will find river rafting, bike paths, boutique shopping, and a great nightlife scene.

Transit


The condo is located just a half-mile away from Northstar ski resort and is on a free shuttle line. Guests can download the Northstar app and have easy access to the free dial-a-ride shuttle. There are also daily use routes to and from Kings Beach and Truckee with TART (Tahoe Area Rapid Transportation). To reach Kings Beach, guests make a .5 mile walk to Northstar Village Gate #7 to take the Hwy 267 Truckee Depot to Crystal Bay station route, from which is around a 15-minute bus ride. For those looking to go to the historic town of Truckee, guests can take the same bus heading North and be at Truckee with a 20-minute bus ride. There are several cab companies in the area as well as Uber and Lyft, however, Uber and Lyft can be seasonal and scarce at times.

Access


Guests will have access to the entire home, a private ski storage closet, as well as shared village amenities such as a pool, hot tubs, and a fitness center. Guests will also have access to two parking spots in a shared parking lot.

Notes


Please note that, like most homes in this area, this home does not have A/C. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. House Rules


1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
