From the home, you are within walking distance of various shops and eateries, as well as Market Plaza and Mountain Village Gondola, which connects Mountain Village and Telluride. Alternatively, make the short drive to Telluride Ski Resort for quick access to mountain adventures. Dive into the town's vibrant cultural scene with a short drive to Telluride's Historic District, where charming Victorian architecture, boutique shops, cozy cafés, and eclectic eateries await. For a memorable day trip, unwind at the renowned Ouray Hot Springs pool, about an hour's drive from the home, for a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience.
The well-located home places you minutes from several gondolas, getting you out in the mountains or down to downtown Telluride in no time. A short walking path will take you directly from the home to Market Plaza Gondola for easy ski-in/ski-out access. The gondola connects Mountain Village to Telluride, offering a convenient way to access other ski runs while enjoying the scenic views of the San Juan Mountains. In the summer months, explore the area's many hiking and biking trails, such as the nearby Bear Creek Falls or Prospect Trail. Guests can utilize the free dial-a-ride (DAR) service that will bring you anywhere in Mountain Village. Download the Mountain Village DAR app to use during your stay.
Guests will have access to the entire home as well as the option to pay for onsite parking. Guests will also have access to onsite shared amenities that include an outdoor pool, hot tubs, fitness center, steam room, and laundry facilities.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please note: The gondola typically closes for seasonal maintenance from the first week of April through May 22nd each year. Be sure to check local schedules if you're planning a visit during this time. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Parking is $39 per night, and it's all valet service (valet is free) upon picking up your keys at the front desk, *NOT INCLUDED* in your booking charges. A Note on Shared Amenities: Please keep in mind that these spaces are operated by the HOA. Because of this, they are subject to seasonal availability—common seasonal closures may include April-May and Sept-Nov—and we can't be held responsible for unexpected closures or repairs. If you are booking specifically for a shared amenity, please feel free to reach out with any questions in advance!

We had a great stay at Mountain Lodge, the location is great as you can easily ride the Gondola down to Telluride or Mountain Village itself is very walkable. The apartment was spotless and comfortable, with high quality appliances. The Mountain Lodge staff made checking in and taking our car and luggage very easy. I'd love to stay again.

Could not have been better! A lovely appointed resort. There was a great grocery store close by and we cooked in house. Would highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mountain Village and enjoyed the amenities at the Mountain Lodge. It was nice having the restaurant (The View) close by, and it was delicious! It was a very short walk to the Gondola as well. An added bonus was to be able to bring our pup along. Overall, was a great place and location, and the hosts were very responsive.
