Our home is an established, quiet residential enclave nestled along the lower slopes of Boreas Pass, surrounded by towering pines, peaceful alpine vistas, located on a 1/2 acre lot in a culdesac. In the winter months, the neighborhood offers a tranquil mountain setting just minutes away from the excitement of Breckenridge Ski Resort and the bustling historic district. Main Street is just a 1 mile walk away to explore eclectic boutiques, art galleries, and renowned après-ski spots, or experience seasonal magic at the annual Ullr Fest and international snow sculpture championships. Winter recreation is practically at your doorstep, with swift access to five towering peaks of world-class downhill skiing and snowboarding, groomed cross-country trails at the Breckenridge Nordic Center, and guided backcountry dog sledding through the Swan River Valley.
A vehicle equipped with 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and snow tires is strongly recommended to navigate high-country mountain roads safely during winter weather conditions. While our home enjoys a serene wooded setting at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, it is conveniently located just 1.2 miles from Main Street and 1.4 miles from the ski resort base areas. For guests preferring public transit, a free bus stop on Boreas Pass Road is approximately 1.0 mile from the home. From there, the free Breck Free Ride bus system provides regular service connecting to the ski slopes, the BreckConnect Gondola, and downtown Breckenridge.
Guests have private access to the entire home and all private amenities, including the 6-person hot tub, gas fire pit, gas BBQ grill, upper deck, lower patio, in-unit laundry room, and on-site parking for 4 vehicles (2 spaces in the garage and 2 spaces in the private driveway). The locked owner's closet located adjacent to the interior garage entrance is strictly off-limits.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please note that the hot tub is serviced between guests. Sometimes the tub is chemically treated, but other times it is drained and refilled. Because of this, the tub may be cold upon arrival and may not be hot on the first night of your stay.
