For those looking to enjoy Tahoe’s FREE public transportation, TART, you can make the 10-minute drive into Tahoe City, where you will find park-n-ride locations with bus routes connecting you to places such as Northstar Ski Resort, Kings Beach, and Truckee. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Please note that, like most homes in Tahoe, this home does not have A/C. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

We had a perfect stay celebrating my husband's birthday with his family, some friends, and our 9-month old for a ski weekend! The hosts were excellent communicators and everything about the space met or exceeded our expectations. The hot tub is in excellent condition and was a treat after the slopes! The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to prep meals for 8 hungry adults :) Would happily stay again!

This was a perfect place for our family to stay while skiing palisades and Alpine Meadows. It was spacious and comfortable. Our boys loved the hot tub, and the mud room made it easy for us to do all our winter sports. Great stay in the mountains!
