Tucked in a quiet residential area of Carnelian Bay, this home offers convenient access to year-round Tahoe adventures. In winter, you’re a short drive to top ski resorts like Northstar and Palisades Tahoe. Summer brings access to nearby beaches, scenic hiking and biking trails, and water fun at Kings Beach and Tahoe City. The neighborhood is peaceful and well-maintained, ideal for a relaxing getaway.
A car is recommended to explore the area. While there’s no shuttle service within walking distance and access to the TART Connect, you’re within a 15-minute drive to beaches, trails, shops, and ski resorts. Drive cautiously in winter, especially during or after snowfall.
Guests have access to the entire home, including the deck, grill, arcade/ board games and private laundry. Parking is available for up to 3 cars in the driveway.

LocalVR Tahoe was a great host; they were proactive and very responsive with communication. Their place was perfect for my family, very peaceful and tucked away from the crowds and traffic. The inside is very spacious, and the arcade is a great touch; my son loved playing Galaga. The kitchen is beautiful and has all the amenities for cooking if you feel like staying in. The deck has an amazing view and is so peaceful, great for reading a book or just relaxing. Overall, the location is great, you are 10 minutes from Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Also, there is a Safeway less than 5 minutes away if you need groceries. Five Stars!
