Situated in a quiet forested neighborhood, the home places you within walking distance of a public beach, restaurants, and bars, so you won’t even need to get in the car to enjoy some great activities! A short walk down the road will take you to Waterman’s Landing/Patton Beach where you will find a cute coffee shop, picnic areas, and 2 places where you can rent every type of watercraft imaginable. Or enjoy a sunny day at the beautiful public beach Carnelian West Beach, an excellent swimming spot just a short walk from the home! You will find more entertainment and dining options just down the street from the house such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. In the winter months, you are a 15-minute drive to Northstar or a 20-minute drive to Palisades, Tahoe. If Nordic skiing is more your thing, you are less than 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center, where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. If a little less adventure is what you are looking for, the towns of Tahoe City and Kings Beach are both within a 10-minute drive in either direction. In both places, you will find major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Centrally located off HWY 28 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop, you can comfortably get by without having a vehicle if needed. A 3-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop at Hwy 28 at Carnelian Woods or Gar Woods East Parking Lot. From here you are just a 20-minute bus ride away to Tahoe City Transit Center where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. For those with a vehicle enjoy being close to HWY 28 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas with just a 10-minute drive to Tahoe City, Kings Beach, and Brockway Summit Tahoe Rim Trail Trailhead. In the wintertime, you are a 20-minute drive or less from three of the area's best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley ski resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor areas including a and balcony, and six parking places in the driveway.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please note that the grill is only available in the summer months.

We stayed here as a family of 12 and had such a great time! The house felt welcoming right away and it was super helpful that there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. Everything looked just like the photos, which we really appreciated. Plus, having a 7-Eleven right across the street was so convenient. We’d happily stay here again!
