Guests enter the home through the attached garage where you will enter into the main floor. When you step inside the home you will come to a hallway where a full bathroom awaits you. This dynamic space doubles as a laundry/mud with a full-size washer and dryer so you can easily change out of your dirty outdoor gear and get it washed and ready for the next day’s adventures. Next to the bathroom is a storage closet providing a great space to hang your outdoor gear before settling into the home. The main level of the home features a living room, kitchen, and dining room in an open and social layout with high-vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams, soaring floor-to-ceiling windows, an impressive stone hearth fireplace, and stylish decor. Stunning mountain views can be enjoyed from all angles of this room creating a memorable backdrop for your mountain getaway! One side of the room features an inviting living room outfitted with a large leather couch and a wood-burning fireplace. The other side of the open room features the kitchen and dining area where you will find everything you need for cooking and dining at home. Step into the fully-equipped kitchen where you will find a beautiful and modern space boasting brand new stainless steel appliances, a full range of cooking tools including an air fryer, crockpot, and blender, and a spacious kitchen island featuring two bar stools. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area where you will find a lovely wood table with seating for 8 and french doors opening out to the deck. Step out to the spacious deck where you will find a great outdoor living space with both a covered and uncovered deck area so you can enjoy stepping outside year-round. The mountain views from all directions add to the incredible outdoor space where you will also find a BBQ, an outdoor dining table, comfortable patio furniture, and a private hot tub. Rounding out the main level of the home is the beautiful master bedroom, located just down the hallway from the open living space providing a quiet area to rest. The master bedroom is a modern and luxurious bedroom boasting mountain views, a comfortable king-size bed, nightstands with lamps, a plush oversized rug, and a large walk-in closet. Adding to the luxury of the bedroom is an attached master bathroom where you will find a double-sink vanity, a bathtub/shower combo, and a storage closet. From the living room make your way up to the upper floor where an open loft awaits you. The loft is a dynamic space that can be used as a bedroom, workspace, or hangout spot! The loft is outfitted with a king-size bed, a dresser, a large TV, and a workspace with a desk and chair. Whether you need an extra room for sleeping accommodations, a quiet work area, or a cozy spot for a movie, the loft is set up for it all. Make your way to the lower level of the home where the carpeted stairs open up to the cozy living/game room, set up with everything you need for hanging out with loved ones. The room features a large sectional sofa with deep, plush cushions beckon’s you to snuggle in. The sofa is situated in front of a large mounted TV perfect for movie nights, as well as an electric fireplace warming up the space and providing a warm ambiance to the room. Or, take the fun to the other side of the room where a pool table and an impressive kitchen bar are located. Play some rounds of pool while you enjoy snacks or happy hour from the bar which includes a sink, a microwave, and a wine fridge. The entire room is filled with natural light from the 3 sets of sliding glass doors that open up to an additional outside area. On sunny days open up the sliding doors and enjoy a great extension of living space, this area will be the hang-out spot! Down a short hallway from the living/game room, you will find the two bedrooms located across from each other. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed with ample storage room and the second bedroom is great for sharing with a twin-over twin bunk bed and an additional twin bed providing enough space for 3 to stay comfortably. A spacious bathroom is located next to the two bedrooms which features a single-sink vanity and a spacious shower with a sliding glass door.
This home is located just outside of the beautiful town of Alma, a quaint mountain town full of history, charm, and abundant outdoor adventures. Alma is known as being the highest incorporated town in North America sitting at 10,361 ft! The area is a gateway to endless outdoor adventures with several 14ers in close proximity. While in the area visit one of the historic mining towns such as Buckskin Joe, or head the 10 miles over to Mosquito Pass, one of Colorado’s highest mountain passes that provides stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Hike the nearby Beaver Creek Trail, make your way to stunning Lake Criterion, explore Fairplay or make the 30-minute trip to Breckenridge, where you can hit the ski slopes at Breckenridge Ski Resort or stroll Main Street and explore the many shops, restaurants, galleries and museums there.
Please note that a 4x4 wheel drive vehicle is required in the winter months between November - April. This home is located just off Highway 9 - the main highway in the area that runs from Alma and Fairplay up to Blue River and Breckenridge to the north. Its close proximity to this major highway and Highway 285 makes it easy to get on the road wherever your adventures take you. This area is known for its proximity to many of the area’s wonderful outdoor adventure locations such as Breckenridge Ski Resort and several 14ers such as Mount Quandary and Mount Cross. The towns of Fairplay and Alma are within a 10-minute drive from the home. The Summit Stage Free Bus' Park County Commuter Route stops in both Fairplay and Alma and will provide FREE transport all the way into Breckenridge.
Guests will have access to the entire home, a private hot tub, and parking for 4 vehicles with 2 spaces in the garage and 2 in the driveway. Guests will also have access to a newly installed private sauna.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are allowed with a $250 flat fee on Airbnb - a maximum of 80 pounds total. Either 1 dog = 80 lbs or 2 dogs = 80 lbs. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
