This beautiful 4 bedroom home features a bright, open living room and kitchen area that is great for relaxing in front of the fire, playing games, or watching the snow fall out the large windows. Everyone in your group will be able to get a restful night of sleep with the home’s great separation of sleeping and living space keeping the bedrooms nice and quiet. Or take the entertaining to the great outdoors on one of the home’s two outdoor decks which feature a hot tub, patio furniture, and great views over the surrounding nature! When you arrive at the home you will find the main living area on the upper level, a space filled with charming cabin decor, high ceilings with exposed wood beams, and soaring windows providing stunning views over the surrounding nature. When you come up the stairs you will arrive at the open living room with the kitchen and dining area adjacent to it. The living room provides a spacious comfortable area to connect with your group with a large sectional sofa situated around a coffee table, a 46” TV, and a natural gas fireplace in a lovely brick hearth. Spread out in this space also features a wet bar, a cozy window seat, and a high-top table with four chairs providing plenty of space for entertaining. From the living room, you can access the large upper deck which boasts lovely views over the surrounding trees. Dine al fresco at the patio table with seating for 6, or prepare a meal on the propane bbq. And be sure to take in the morning sun from the upper deck, a beautiful sight to enjoy! Just beyond the spacious living room, you will find a large kitchen with granite countertops, a kitchen island with three bar stools, a wide variety of cooking appliances, and access to the outdoor deck. With ample counter space and views over the surrounding trees, the chef in your group will enjoy preparing a meal for the group in this lovely space. Connected to the kitchen is the dining area which features a large dining table with seating for 8 with windows surrounding the table flooding the space with natural light. When you are ready to tuck in for the night you will find two bedrooms on the upper level off the living room/kitchen area. Both bedrooms are located at the end of the hallway with the first bedroom featuring a comfortable queen-size bed, a matching nightstand and dresser set, sconce lighting, a TV, and windows providing views over the surrounding trees. The second bedroom is a spacious room making efficient use of space with a twin over full bunk bed and a sofa that pulls out to a full bed. This roomy bedroom is flooded with natural light with several large windows featured in the space and features ample storage room with a large closet and dresser. Comfortably located by the two bedrooms is a full bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a shower/bathtub combo. Downstairs you will find the additional two bedrooms as well as the main entrance of the home complete with a mud room area with storage space for your outdoor gear. Near the front entryway is the master bedroom, an inviting space with a king-size bed, nightstands with lamps, a cozy reading corner with a chair, a mirrored closet, and a tall dresser with a TV on top. The master bedroom features access to the hot tub and an ensuite full bathroom. The master bathroom features a large double-sink vanity, a walk-in double shower with a sliding glass door, and a privacy wall for the toilet. Down the hallway is the fourth bedroom which has access to the hot tub, a queen-size bed with a lovely bedframe, and a nightstand and dresser for storage space. Also featured on the downstairs floor is an additional half-bathroom, a laundry closet with a washer and dryer, access to the garage, and access to the lower level deck which features a private 6-person hot tub. If relaxation in the great outdoors is what you are looking for, this North Lake Tahoe gem has everything you need to have an amazing Lake Tahoe vacation. The cabin is situated on a quiet street just minutes away from an endless network of National Forest trails. During the winter months hit the trails and enjoy cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling, and in the summer these same trails turn into the perfect hiking, mountain biking, or dirt biking areas. You can even drive your car along the dirt road in the summers to access the famous Tahoe Rim Trail and hike to Watson Peak! This same trailhead also offers access to a paved bike path that can take you to Tahoe City and beyond. In the winter months, the bike path is well maintained for 3 miles so you can easily snowshoe or XC ski out and back through the woods. The location of the home places you nearby some of the best skiing in the area with Palisades Tahoe 20 minutes away and only 25 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort. If Nordic skiing is more your thing you are less than 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic XC Center. For those looking for a little less outdoor adventure, the beautiful town of Tahoe City is only 10 minutes away where you will find large grocery stores, boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, a movie theater, and in the summer a farmer’s market and live music. Only 5 minutes down the road in the other direction brings you to Agate Bay where you will find the famous Gar Woods Grill and pier as well as Watermans Landing where you can rent a wide variety of watercraft.
The home is within a 12-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop on Tahoe's public transportation system called TART. This stop is on the Mainline and is stop HWY 28 at Old County RD which runs every hour and stops along the entire western shore of Lake Tahoe from Tahoma to the north shore at Incline Village. Or take advantage of the home's close driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. The home’s great location places you within quick access to the main highway so you can enjoy the many beautiful surrounding areas within a 25-minute drive or less! In the winter hit the ski slopes at Northstar Ski Resort or Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts, both a 25 -minute drive away, or make the less than 5 minutes drive to the Tahoe City Nordic center where you can XC ski or snowshoe. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Guests will have access to the entire house, private outdoor areas including a deck with a hot tub, and five parking places in the driveway.
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions. Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe. Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
