Space


Welcome! Our recently updated and upgraded log home is perfect for groups to enjoy their vacation with each other. During this past fall (fall 2021), we upgraded the furnishings in the home. Almost everything in the home has been upgraded with very high-end, high quality furniture, mainly from Restoration Hardware. As you walk up the heated walkway and heated steps, open the front door and welcome yourself to luxurious living. With 3 levels, beautiful log, high vaulted 20-foot ceilings and breathtaking views of the mountains. As you walk up to the upper level, you will see the living room equipped with new comfortable furnishings perfect for your group to lounge. Directly in front of the seating is a magnificent fireplace with a large flat screen smart TV equipped with Sonos surround sound and your favorite streaming services (Apple TV) or DirecTV Premier package. Perfect for watching movies on cozy nights in the mountains! The living room also has access to the upper deck equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture, a large natural gas Wolf grill for a nice cook out, 180 degree views of the San Juan Mountains and directly adjacent to the forest. The balcony also brings in a lot of light to the living room, great to wake up to! The dining area is also located on the top floor. The dining table can seat 8 people comfortably. The space is situated by the balcony and large windows so that your group can enjoy scenic views of the mountains while you eat a great meal! Besides the dining and living space is our recently updated kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, leather-granite countertops, a bar with a mini fridge and ice maker and is fully stocked for the chef in your group to cook a delicious meal. The final space on the top level is a guest bedroom with a king-sized bed and private, en suite bathroom. There is a flat screen TV with DirecTV and DVD player available for your use. We've supplied almost a hundred of our favorite movies for you and also our favorite board games in the den/media room. Please enjoy! The private en suite bathroom has a single vanity and a standing shower. On the middle floor is the spacious master bedroom and the garage. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed (sleep number bed with left and right controls), a desk, a walk-in closet, a gas fireplace that goes through to the bathroom and a private fully furnished deck. The bathroom has a double vanity, a Jacuzzi tub and steam shower. You can truly relax in the tub with the fireplace on after a long day! Included is a large flat screen with DirecTV with Sonos soundbar and woofer. The heated garage is also on the middle floor. It can comfortably fit a large SUV (19' deep). The garage has a dumb-waiter that goes up to the kitchen. As you walk down the stairs to the lower level, you will see cubbies and bench seats by the side door leading out to the back patio - ski slopes and mountain bike trails. There is ample space here to store your equipment and hang your coats. Outside, there are ski and snowboard racks for you to use as well. As you walk into the back patio, you'll see a fire pit (non-functional), tons of seating and our private hot tub that can comfortably fit 6–8 people. We've designed this backspace for you and your group to comfortably relax and enjoy being in the mountains, taking in the views. We are the end unit directly adjacent to the beautiful forest of Telluride ski mountain. Walking back inside, you'll see a guest bedroom and a den/media room. The guest bedroom has a full-over-queen bunk, walk-in closet and a private en suite bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower and TV with Roku for streaming (no DirectTV). The den/media room has a king-sized pull-out sofa sleeper, modern bean bags for additional seating and a new, upgraded TV (no DirectTV) with DVD player and Sonos surround sound system and a private en-suite bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower. Both the bedroom and den/media room have large double doors with access to the back patio and hot tub. On this level is also a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. The home has Sonos speakers through-out. If you are on our Wi-Fi network and download the Sonos app to your mobile device(s), you can stream music from various streaming services (Sonos, Spotify, Pandora, iHeart, TuneIn, etc.) throughout the home. We have in-floor radiant heat through-out the home with four zones controlled by Nest smart thermostats. ALL bathroom floors are heated for your comfort! Please note that, like most homes in Telluride, we do not have A/C.

Neighborhood


Our home is located on the slopes of the world renown, Telluride Ski Resort. We are in Telluride’s prestigious and award-winning Mountain Village. We are a short walk to the Mountain Village Center which hosts dozens of shops, restaurants, and ski and bike rentals. The Mountain Village Center is the main hub for the Telluride Ski Resort and Telluride Mountain Bike Park. Our home sits directly on the ski, mountain bike and hiking trails of Telluride Ski Resort with Prospect Creek running right below us. Mountain Village Center has a free gondola that connects Mountain Village to the historic town of Telluride. The gondola runs ten months of the year - early morning through late evening for FREE! Note, during Corona Virus Pandemic masks are required for all passengers while riding the gondola. Mountain Village has the only Telluride Golf Course which winds its way through Mountain Village and the Telluride Ski slopes. See Telluride Golf Club for information. The Mountain Village Grocery store is located a short walk or 2 minute drive from our home in the Market Plaza. Adjacent to the grocery is the Village Spirits liquor store. The Market Plaza has a free Gondola connecting it with the Mountain Village Center and Historic Downtown Telluride. We are ten minutes from the Telluride Airport and 1.5 hours from Montrose Airport. Most major airlines fly in and out of Montrose and shuttle service exists to Telluride. All activities that Telluride has to offer are within easy access from our home: • Music, Film and Art Festivals • Fishing • Mountain Biking – Both Chairlift, downhill with a lift ticket, and cross country requiring no lift access-either right out our back door • Road Biking • Hiking - extensive trails systems throughout the Telluride area and right out the back door • Frisbee Golf – 18 hole course, first tee is a five minute walk from our home, adjacent to Market Plaza • Climbing including nearby world-class Telluride via Ferrata trail system – guides available in Telluride • Etc.

Transit


Generally, once arriving at our home, we do not use our car. We walk, bike or ski to all our destinations including the grocery store at Market Plaza. Telluride’s Mountain Village is connected to the historic downtown Telluride via a free gondola which is in the main Mountain Village Center, seven to ten minute walk from the condo, two minute Mt. Bike ride. Bikes and pets are allowed on the Gondola. Please note certain restrictions are in place during the Corona Virus Pandemic – please check the San Miguel County Public Health Orders for the latest details. Mountain Village Center is the main hub of the Telluride Ski Resort and is where dozens of restaurants, bars, coffee houses and shops are located. In the summer, the Telluride mountain bike park runs out of the main Mountain Village Center. Rental shops exist for ski and bike equipment, along with guides as desired. Mountain Village has a free Dial-A-Ride service for getting around Mountain Village. The service is associated with our condo and free to our guests. Information for accessing the dial-a-ride will be shared shortly before check-in. Telluride also has free bus service through-out Mountain Village and the historic downtown. The two nearest bus stops are located in the Market Plaza near the Village Market and at the Mountain Village Center. These free buses will take you into the town of Telluride, but generally, you would use the free Gondola from the Mountain Village Center. As with the gondola, certain restrictions are in place for the bus service during the Corona Virus Pandemic.

Access


Guests have access to the entire town home including the private hot tub, all deck spaces and backyard.

Notes


One parking space exist – The driveway can accommodate a full-sized vehicle. Please note that the garage is not available to guests, the owner leaves 1 car in the garage year round. We have a Ring doorbell with a camera and other outdoor cameras for security purposes. Please provide an accurate guest count prior to booking. Rates vary throughout the week and season and by number of guests. It's important that your guest count is accurate so we can be sure the home is adequately prepared and stocked for your stay. Business License #: 001137 Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

House Rules


1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are only allowed with Owners/Property Managers prior approval. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and the Guest will be evicted. Pet fees may apply. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
