Surrounded by trees in a tranquil setting, this charming three-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin has all the comforts you need for a mountain retreat for your group of up to 8. You will love looking out the large windows found throughout the home, filling the rooms with natural light and views overlooking the surrounding trees. Return to the home after a busy day of adventures where you will find a spacious kitchen and dining area, a large living room for socializing, cozy bedrooms, and a great private outdoor space. When you enter the home you will arrive at the bright and inviting living room where you will find a space filled with charm from the exposed wood beams lining the ceiling to the stone hearth wood fireplace. In the living room, you will find two 3-person couches, a loveseat, and a sofa chair. One of the couches doubles as a queen pull-out bed, providing additional sleeping accommodations if needed. The large room is a great, dynamic space for your group to socialize in while you warm up by the lovely fireplace. Or, enjoy a cozy movie night on the 44” TV while you snuggle up on the couches. Just off the living room is the fully equipped kitchen, where you will find everything you need to cook a great meal with your friends and family. The kitchen features a full range of appliances, spacious countertops, and a cozy dining space tucked next to a wall of windows. The dining table features bench seating with space for 6 and great views overlooking trees. A hallway off the living room leads to one full bathroom for shared use. This bright, all-white bathroom features a large single-sink vanity, under-the-sink cabinet space, and a shower/bathtub combo. When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find three comfortable bedrooms in the home. The first bedroom is located downstairs in the hallway off the living room. This bedroom features a queen-size bed and beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, making you feel as if you are sleeping outside under the trees. Head upstairs, and you will find two more bedrooms, providing a great separation of space between the bedrooms. The home’s master bedroom is located at the top of the stairs to the left and boasts a comfortable king-size bed in a log-bed frame, a cozy chair for reading, a mounted TV, and a large window overlooking the trees. The second upstairs bedroom features a full-size and a twin-size bed, making it a great room for families or little ones to share. A second full bathroom is comfortably located between the two upstairs bedrooms and features a large single-sink vanity with ample drawer storage space and a shower/bathtub combo. In the summer months, you will love utilizing the spacious wrap-around outdoor deck and private backyard. Sit outside at the bistro-style table with two chairs, or prepare a meal outside on the BBQ. The private backyard is perfect for those traveling with children, giving them an additional space to run and play while you relax on the deck. Located on a quiet road surrounded by a beautiful forested area, this home is in an excellent location for enjoying everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. In the winter months the home places you near some of the best slopes in the area with both Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Tahoe Ski Resort a 20-minute drive away, Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center 15 minutes away, and Homewood Ski Resort just 6 minutes away. If you are looking for some great XC skiing or snowshoeing, you are just minutes away from the popular trails at Paige Meadows. During the summer months, head to Commons Beach, a popular four-acre beach and park less than 10 minutes away. Here you can rent any type of watercraft imaginable, and enjoy great swimming, and BBQ areas. Or, make a quick 5-minute drive up the road to the famous Sunnyside Restaurant and Marina, where you can find great food and watercraft rentals. You are also nearby the Lake Tahoe Bike Path, or if some high alpine hiking is what you are into, Paige Meadows is only an 8-minute drive up the hill where you will find beautiful meadows lined with a vast network of trails that connect you to the Pacific Crest Trail and the Tahoe Rim Trail. For those in your group looking for a little less outdoor time, Tahoe City is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers markets, and live music. When it comes to a great location for everything Lake Tahoe has to offer, this house cannot be beaten!
Guests at this home can easily explore all the area has to offer even without a vehicle thanks to the public transportation TART stop that is just a few minutes walk from your front door! Less than half a mile from the home is the TART stop HWY 89 Timberland DR Lakeside which runs every hour. Be in Tahoe City with an under 10-minute bus ride and be able to easily connect to other routes taking you around the surrounding areas and to the ski resorts. For those with a vehicle, enjoy the home’s close driving proximity to Tahoe City where you can drive to in 8 minutes, and even use the FREE park-and-ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, which include a private unfenced backyard. Guests will also have access to three parking places in the driveway in front of the home.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. Fireplace is unavailable until further notice. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed unless Owner/Manager approves the Guest request before Check In Date, pet fees may apply. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and the Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
