Experience year-round mountain adventures with this gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home quietly situated in Placer Valley. This house is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a peaceful getaway from the bustling city life. For a truly relaxing experience, enjoy the expansive mountain views surrounded by lush green forests from the large outdoor patio. You will also have unlimited access to multiple hiking, biking, and walking trails in the surrounding area.
This gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home that comfortably fits up to 6 guests boasts expansive mountain views that you are sure to love. Upon entrance to the house, you will see the first bedroom to the left of the hallway that features a comfortable king-size bed with ample closet space. The second bedroom right next door is a bunk room with twin over queen size beds. Directly across the hall is a full bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo. The master bedroom is located at the end of the hall and features stunning mountain views, access to a private outdoor deck, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. As you take the stairs to the upper level of the home, you will see the spacious family room that also boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the forests and mountains. There is seating for 5 people on the sofa and additional seating by the window for 3. Cozy up with your loved ones next to the warmth of the indoor wood fireplace, and wind down for the night while watching your favorite show on the flat-screen TV. Cook a delicious homemade meal in the fully-equipped kitchen and tell stories of your adventures over dinner in the dining area that comfortably seats up to 8 people. The upper level of the house also features a piano and a half bathroom. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the outdoor patio while gazing out into the mountain for a picture-perfect relaxing nature getaway. Breathe in the fresh mountain air while sipping on a hot cup of cocoa or freshly brewed coffee. There are two work desks and computer monitors available in the first bedroom upon entering the home and in the upstairs living room (which includes an office chair). The washer/dryer combo is located on the lower level of the house for your washing needs. There are multiple parking spots available in the garage and driveway for your family or group of friends.
Tucked away in a quiet and serene location in Placer Valley, you have unlimited access to hiking and walking trails in the area, such as the Hoosier Pass that will reward you with amazing views. The nearest mountain town of Alma has a quaint and charming setting that includes must-see adventures such as Kite Lake, Montgomery Reservoir, and Mosquito pass. Don't forget to visit the infamous liquor store 'Hoosier Daddy Liquors' while you're in town!
The quaint town of Alma is within a short 10-minute drive, with plenty of parking options. The Park County Commuter Route bus also provides low-cost transit service between Fairplay, Alma, Blue River, and Breckenridge. Uber/Lyft are always available. You will need a 4WD or AWD vehicle from Nov-April.
Guest will have access to the entire home and outdoor patio. You will also have access to one parking spot in the garage and additional parking in the driveway for up to three cars.
You will need a 4WD or AWD vehicle from Nov-April. Summit County may place a fire ban from time to time to prevent wildfires. This limits the use of the fire pit, unfortunately. Please ask us if a fire ban is in place ahead of time if you plan on using the fire pit. Satellite internet may experience lag and other connectivity issues. Standard browsing use only. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.

The perfect location for a friends weekend. The hike above Montgomery Res is great and only minutes away. We did a progressive lunch/bar crawl from Alma to Fairplay and had a great time. Good crafts shopping in Fairplay down the main street. House was comfortable. Loved the fireplace! Kitchen had everything we needed to make a friends dinner.
