Your group will enjoy returning to the home after a busy day of adventures where you will find a spacious main living area for socializing, cozy bedrooms, and a private outdoor space. Enter the home off of the spacious front porch and arrive at a charming front hallway/mudroom. This space includes a bench, coat hooks, and a storage closet, providing a comfortable spot to unload your outdoor gear before settling into the home. Step into the bright and inviting home where the living room/dining/kitchen seamlessly blends in an open layout. This room is filled with natural light from the soaring windows and high ceilings, with 2 ceiling fans keeping it nice and cool in the warm summer months. The living room is set up for relaxing and socializing, with a plush L-shaped sectional and an oversized chair situated around an electric fireplace. The fireplace sits in a lovely cobblestone hearth, adding extra charm to the room! Relax in the living room while watching the falling snow out the large windows, or enjoy a movie night on the 55” TV that includes a sound bar and a Roku. Behind the living room sofa is the dining area, where you will find a large dining table with seating for 6. Adjacent to this space is the fully equipped kitchen, where you will have everything you need to cook a great meal with your friends and family. The kitchen features a full range of appliances, roomy countertops, and a kitchen bar with 4 bar stools providing additional seating space. When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find three thoughtfully designed bedrooms offering a unique blend of functionality and style. The first two bedrooms are located downstairs in the hallway off of the kitchen. The first bedroom packs an efficient punch into the space with 4 twin beds that include a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and a twin bed with a trundle twin. The second bedroom is a well-decorated space with a queen-size bed, matching nightstands with lamps, a spacious closet, and a dresser. Near the two bedrooms, you will find the main level full bathroom, an updated space with a single-sink vanity and a spacious shower with a sliding glass door. Rounding out the main level is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer comfortably located near the bedrooms and bathroom. Head up the stairs where you will first come to a cozy loft area, a versatile space perfect for movie nights, game sessions, or additional sleeping arrangements. The loft features two futons that effortlessly transform into full-size beds, a TV, and an array of movies and games for your entertainment. From the loft, you are steps away from the master suite, a beautiful room with cathedral ceilings, exposed wood beams, skylights, and large windows with views over the surrounding trees. Equipped with a queen-size bed, a dedicated workspace featuring an L-shaped desk and monitor, ample storage including built-in drawers, and a closet, the master suite ensures a restful stay. You are going to love the location of this charming Tahoe home! Located just a half-mile from Secline Beach, you can easily walk down to this pet-friendly beach and enjoy the volleyball courts and BBQ areas. Or head over to King’s Beach, less than a mile from the house, and spend the day on the big sandy beaches where you will find every variety of watercraft available to rent for some water fun! This funky little beach town area has plenty of entertainment and dining options for you to enjoy with a wide variety of restaurants to dine at, cute boutiques, a farmer's market for shopping, and free concerts that happen in the summer. If there is a golfer in your group they will love the fact that the home is only a two-minute drive away from the Brockway Golf Club course. In the winter the golf course is open for XC skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and dog walking. You are also only 8 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort with the added bonus that the location of the house will keep you away from the ski traffic through Kings Beach. If you are looking for XC trails you are less than a 10-minute drive to the North Tahoe Regional Park, or if you are feeling extra adventurous you can access their trail system from Tiger Ave just above the house. This same trail system is great for hiking and biking in the summer. With its easy access to town, ski resorts, golfing, and the lake, this cabin is a great home base for year-round fun in Tahoe.
The home is within a 10-minute walk to the nearest public transportation (TART) stop, jump on the TART stop at Hwy 28 at KB Safeway Store to head south towards Tahoe City, or get on the bus at Hwy 28 at Secline St. to head north to King’s Beach. HWY 267 AT Speckled St which runs every hour. You are just a 3-minute drive to King’s Beach, from which you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With Hwy 28 and Hwy 267 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor deck, and private partially fenced backyard. Guests will also have access to two parking places in the driveway in front of the home.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions. If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe. Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside. 2. People other than included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. Quiet Hours are 10pm – 8am. Excessive noise inside these hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund. 4. Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities. The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guests and Rental Party are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Rental Property or others whom they invite to use the Rental Property. 5. Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses. 6. Pets are not allowed. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged and Guest will be evicted. 7. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use. 8. Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged for any damages incurred by Property Manager or Owner. 9. Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times. 10. If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted. 11. At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of outdoor facilities such as Hot Tub. 12. Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation. 13. No rowdy behavior is permitted. Guests must behave at all times, in a reasonable and proper manner and act in a way as to protect the Rental Property, its contents and furnishings against damage. Failure to do so could result in eviction. 14. No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted. 15. Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase. 16. Guest must obtain approval prior to checking in early or check out late. If Guest enter the Rental Property before agreed upon Check In Time or leave the Rental Property after agreed upon Check Out Time, Guest will be charged $50/half hour. 17. Guest is responsible to learn and understand any mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19 before confirming a reservation. 18. Guest agrees to follow all local, state and federal level mandates, restrictions or public health orders relating to COVID-19. Violations that result in fines based on Guests' actions will be passed on to the Guest. 19. Guest agrees that they are 25 years of age or older. 20. If applicable, Guest may be responsible for loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit. 21. Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are not allowed unless explicitly approved by Owner/Manager. If violated, a $500 fee will be charged to the Guest and Guest will be evicted.
